I say yes to everything that inspires me and end up overwhelmed. My psychologist says I have unresolved issues stemming from childhood stress.
I like dancing.
I work in film ’cause it pays well and the hours are so reasonable. I work on films that, if I’m going to be honest with you aren’t very good. Like Fast and Furious, Avengers, Dr Strange, Star Wars, The Irishman. Here’s my IMDB profile.
I’m a Visual Effects Artist during the day, the nerdy behind the computer type, it keeps me well fed. I also drink excessively.
The rough yet highly charismatic dude who runs the parking-lot downstairs got fired one day for being drunk. That wouldn’t happen in my industry.
I must add that I love my job. While I would never normally watch Marvel Films by my own volition, they are a blast to work on. I loved animating spider man, the way his hands and feet move quickly to maintain suction on the wall… like a spider. And when Ant Man got giant sized?! It was fun.
But it’s not my dream, truly I’m in love with the way ink seeps and creeps through loose woven paper. I’m in love with blending digital layers of colour and I’m in love with Infrared Photography. I might be in love with some other things too… you’re swiftly growing on me.
